I came across this and felt like I needed to share it. I found this YouTube channel which provides some really good and clear tutorials on how to make a RPG game in Gamemaker. (Not how to make sprites, but how to make an actual RPG game) I watched part 1 and 2 so far and it's really clearly explained in such a way that even a beginner can follow it.
